The Science Exploratorium utilizes a series of louvers that slide independently of one another, giving the occupant or the curator the ability to manipulate the amount of natural light that enters the conditioned space.  The independence of the louvers allows for a dynamic facade that will be different every day depending on weather and human comfort.
